From September 2014 all pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 in state-funded schools in England will be eligible for Universal free school meals (FSMs) regardless of whether you are eligible for Free School Meals.
Free School Meals for all children are available if you live in Kingston and receive Income Support, Income Based Jobseekers Allowance or the guarantee element of state pension credit. Families receiving child tax credit (but not working tax credit) and have an annual income of less than £16,190 may apply. You can check the RBK website for the most up-to-date information or contact Guildhall on 020 8547 5251. If you live outside Kingston please check with your home authority. Contact the school office if you require any support with this process.
The hot lunches are provided in school, by ISS catering and parents should ensure that they order hot meals, if required, using their website, or telephone number. Children can also, if they prefer to, bring in their own packed lunch. Lunch is eaten in the School Hall where the children are supported by the School Meals Supervisory Assistants.
Children are not allowed to leave the premises during the lunchtime without the permission of the Headteacher.
