Monday 13th - The children have arrived safely at Windmill Hill. The sun is shining and they have had their lunch. They are all excited and getting ready to start their activities for this afternoon.
Tuesday 14th - all children up ok this morning and getting ready for breakfast. A coupe of groups did rafting yesterday and had lots of fun. Lights were out at 9.30pm last night and just one group of girls were caught chatting until the early hours!
Tuesday 14th - Update from Mrs Owen & Mr Keady
We are having so much fun here at Windmill Hill!
The weather is being kind to us and we are all bursting with health in the fresh country air.
So far, the children have enjoyed raft building (we all survived, although some were a little bit soggy). We have also been on the Giant Swing and All Aboard. Many of the children have already been abseiling and others have burnt lots of energy whilst fencing.
We have been very well fed and are looking forward to sleeping soundly after a full day of adventures this evening.
The children are recognising our RESPECT keys to success in new situations and most importantly of all they have huge smiles on their faces.
See you all soon!

Wednesday 15th March - Update from Mrs Owen and Mr Keady
Hello from sunny, tropical Windmill Hill!
We continue to enjoy absolutely beautiful weather! It has been a fabulous day.
Some letters and postcards arrived yesterday and whilst there were a few moments of homesickness, we were soon back in good spirits and enjoying evening activities. Everyone in the group has been smiling and having fun.
Today, the children have been climbing up Jacob's ladder, orienteering, doing archery and swinging from the trapeze.
They have been a real credit to our school and to you all. They have all been incredibly good at supporting and encouraging each other to face challenges during activities.
We are off to the disco tonight and will send a final update tomorrow after our last day of activities.
See you all soon!
